  • About:
In Summer 2007, Chris (Drums) went to Ponge (Bass) with an idea of starting a band. Chris told Ponge about his friend Jamie (Vocals) who he thought was an awesome singer. So they met with Jamie...less than a minute into an Evanescence song, they were sold. She had an amazing voice.

The original line up was Jamie on vocals, Ponge on bass, Chris decided to play drums instead of playing the guitar, (Chris has played the guitar for years) and Emily wanted to learn how to play the guitar. Excited, they took band photos and tried to come up with a band name that sounded "just right." After several tries of a band name, Jamie came up with "Fatal Redemption." It caught everyone's ear so it was made official. They now had a name.

For the first official band practice, Shaun came over to jam. Shaun had been playing for years, and had good experience with other bands in the past. Emily, who is the mother of two adorable little kids, decided there just wasn't enough time to learn to play guitar (Moms out there know, sometimes there's not enough time in a day to even shower! :) It seemed to work out for everyone, though, because Shaun joined the band...

The band started practicing, writing music, and coming up with "their sound." In just a couple of months, they had completed two songs, and were writing two more. In Fall 2007, Jamie came to practice talking about a benefit concert her friend was coordinating. Her friend wanted to know if the band would like to perform. Excited, they agreed to do it. After a couple of practices, they decided a rhythm guitar player would compliment their sound. Jamie had mentioned her brother Jimmy (Rhythm-Lead Guitar) can play. Jamie invited Jimmy to practice, and it went very well. Everyone seemed to work together and click, so he joined. Just a few weeks away from their first gig (the benefit concert,) much practice had to be done....

Playing at "Making Music for Logan" was an awesome first experience for them. After the show was done, they decided to practice "Far Away" to record. Jamie knew of HogWild Recording out of Cave Springs. Shaun contacted them, and the date was set for November 17th.
The day came to record. Nerves running high, excitment flowed through their veins...and five people ready to rock. Recording their very own song for the first time was such an awesome experience! Tim and Mikey were wonderful to work with. Both are very knowlegable and had some great ideas to help the song. They gave a rough draft of the song so the band and others can hear the song. The rough draft is the first one put on here. The master copy, when they are done, will be added on here so look for it! If anyone wants to record, go through HogWild Recording!!! They are the best! The band will use them to record their whole album. While recording with them, Tim invited the band to open for them on New Year's Eve at Good Vibrations, which the band has excitedly accepted.
News: It has been announced that we are on the roster to open for Toby Keith in Corpus Christi, Texas, on April 12th! We are working VERY HARD and are excited to be a part of this opportunity!!!

Chris, Shaun and Ponge want to advance their talent to their highest potential, so they are taking music classes! The band would like to give a shout out to Patrick and Matt, their instructors.

Keep checking back for further news from the band. Also feel free to drop a message or comment. Your support is everything, and the band will be sure to respond to each and every one of you! They are still in their first stages of getting out there, but with their hard work and your support, they are aiming high.

Much love and peace out killers!
